Not just a pretty flower

The black caraway (nigella sativa) flowers have such a particular shape and the black seeds they make have been used in cooking and medicine for over 3000 years. Oh and wouldn't you know it..a group of scientists in Pakistan, looking for a traditional miracle drug during the ongoing pandemic, showed that patients with covid 19 recovered more quickly when treated with a combination of honey and nigella sativa as compared to subjects without treatment.
And of course bees love them!
