Little Owl

The other day, we were sitting in our living room when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I ran to get my big camera, but as I got back it flew off. Mrs SoL got a quick snap (see Frenchtoast), but I missed it. I set the tripod up and waited, and waited… and waited.  I have seen it on top of the barn opposite. Today, it was back in the tree in front of the house. 
Reading up, it is not unusual for them to be out in daylight, but this one seems to like the tree opposite in the evening. I’ve now added the lens doubler for future pics. No doubt that will jinx it!
