Pollen

Our morning walk goes through a field which is now covered in very tall grass - it seems to have grown out of nowhere. I’m guessing it’s at peak pollen-producing time now because there were clouds of the stuff coming off the field as we walked through it. Needless to say, Paul’s hay fever was pretty bad for the rest of the day, poor soul.

Term has finished at the university I work at but that means that things start to get busy for us in the ‘back room’ of the library. Contrary to what most people would think, summer is our busiest time as we start preparing for the next academic year.
