Loch Uaine
We started the walk at Loch Morlich but then started the climb up to Loch Uaine. It’s stunningly green and apparently one of the places to go wild swimming.
We then continued the climb up to the Ryvoan Bothy.
We’ve down loaded two new apps, one that identifies plants and the other identifies bird calls. Today we heard a meadow pipit and a cuckoo ( didn’t need the app for that one)
The walk back down was on the other side of the river and was a little harder than the track on the other side. We’ll sleep well.
We then drove up to the Cairngorm car park to look at the view. When I was last there we went up the funicular railway but it’s not been running since 2018.
We had a visitor when we arrived home - see the extra.
