Loch an Eilein

Some ducks came to visit while we were having breakfast so we put some food out them.

We needed some things from Aviemore so we we treated ourselves to lunch before we started our planned walk.

We walked around Loch an Eileen. It was a lovely walk. There is a 13th century castle on an island and when you are parallel to the doorway in there is a wonderful echo.

When we arrived back to the lodge the ducks were there again so we fed them again. I wonder if they will be back again tomorrow?
