Wild Swimming

After work my friend suggested we go for a walk and a swim. It was super warm outside. The dog was swimming at one point too, she literally threw herself in from a bit of a height and made a huge splash. It took me a while to get out  and involved lots of balancing on tree roots and clambering on mud. 

To be honest I can't believe I got in a swam around for quite a long time.It was cooling but glorious and importantly not cold. The lighting was amazing. The other people who were swimming when I was there looked to be in their 50s and 60s. There were quite a few young people who were quietly socialising and having BBQs. As we left a couple were sitting nearby,  enjoying the evening glow of the sun, were drinking out of retro champagne saucers. A really interesting place!
