Wild alpine Strawberries.
Feast Day of St. Ishmael and St. Cyricus.
The morning is sunny, close and 20.5c indoors.
I went for a walk earlier and bought my copy of The People's Friend and I newspaper. I give the previous week's copy to Jenny who then gives it to Patricia.
The grass in the Church garden is looking overgrown and it is a shame because it was always kept neat and well cared for by Anne and Eric.
These wild strawberries are growing prolifically on the outside of a fence near the post box.
Many people in the neighbourhood are taking advantage of the warm weather to mow lawns and repair roofs.
Paul had a good phone chat with the eye surgeon who performed his cataract operation. All is well. We went to the local discount store on the high street and Paul bought a pair of x2 reading glasses. It is four weeks until his optician can prescribe prescription lenses for reading. His long vision is excellent he says and colours appear much better than before.
I hope you all have a lovely day and thanks for dropping by.
