A Wednesday Woodland Walk

Hottest day of the year so far - scorchio!! So I didn't venture far - had some letters to post so did my normal detour back via the local woods where it was lovely and cool! Could happily have stayed there all day! Maybe I'll take a picnic next time!

Not so many birds about today - I don't blame them! - spotted a squirrel, and speckled wood butterfly and a few dragonflies had me chasing round the field to get them 'resting'! Thankful again for there being nobody else about!   Not sure what one this is?! Any help appreciated! I'm still learning!
