Muddy beak!

Rain! Glorious rain!!  Had a rather spectacular storm overnight here in Essex and the rain fell down throughout - the garden has breathed a huge sigh of relief although I'm not so keen on all the petals of peonies and roses that are now littering the ground!  Guess I'll be deadheading when things have dried out!

So didn't venture out anywhere today which gave me a chance to catch up indoors - never my favourite pastime!  But that also gave me a chance to peek out the window every now and then and was entertained by 3 squirrels doing the rounds, as well as watching this lovely woodpecker attacking our neighbours lawn! Their ants are obviously better than ours!
