And I know that self praise is no praise but I am actually very pleased with this photo! Who knew you could attempt the wonders of depth of field with an iPhone camera lens! Blues on one side, reds on the other - game on!!

Bragging rights and pride for the year were the wagers today as Abertay battled against Dundee in several sporting events, many of which had been cancelled due to frozen pitches! And thank goodness for flexi hours at work - a sneaky 2hr lunch break came in handy to pop along and watch the badminton fixture. A masterclass in how to play the game would be one way of describing it! Good effort though Abertay! A yearly improvement at the event!

Back at work and I was questioning why I hadn't just left for the day and had the whole afternoon off as I ended up buried in a mound of paperwork!

As the players then took off for a night on the tiles, muggins here had a quiet night in proof-reading a dissertation and frantically watching the Mayday episodes before it expires from the iplayer tomorrow!
