A quiet corner

Old metal watering can being recycled.
Very hot and sticky day today. More heavy work in the garden, things that need to be done but don't really change the current look of the plot.
Hot and sweaty by the end of the day and as it was haircut night I had a late shower, very refreshing, might try it more often, never mind the bills.. By the time we had eaten and the barbering was completed the temperature had dropped so I did some watering (even though we have heavy thunderstorms forecast) and gentle weeding. I finished the day on one of the garden chairs reading a new book on my kindle until it got dark.
