Driving Round in Circles

l’m sure anyone who knows me would say l would rather edit a photograph into an abstract than aim for that perfect and elusive shot.
Taking Ruby to her little summer job again so l got up earlier than planned, got a shock when it was an hour earlier than l thought.
Not going mad but l just get up without looking at the clock.
As l’d painted the porch/ lobby ceiling last evening l decided to do the walls this morning. Remembered all the tips about using masking tape and ‘cutting in’ with the brush.
Looks good but will decide later if it needs a second coat.
At Ruby’s now and as l wait for her to have breakfast, l took a photograph of my steering wheel before l came inside and have just spent a pleasurable and relaxing ten minutes editing it for the theme of Shape for this weeks AT, thanks Ingeborg .
The loveliest thing about doing these edited abstracts is that you can learn so much by you mistakes, home decorating not quite the same.
