Beautiful skies, trees, path, views and the moon..
.. Plus a lovely local visitor for his evening meal.
A late start today and relaxed breakfast then we visited the local produce shop we've very quickly grown to love for a few supplies. Our walk today started almost opposite the shop and took us along Am Beanaldh or possibly the River Druie to an iron bridge erected in 1912 by a local organisation as a crossing point at the junction of many paths.
We ate our picnic by this beautiful mountain stream strewn with boulders which I decided needed crossing to get to a large one in the centre, yes, I ended up with a boot full!
It was a gorgeous afternoon, on the return path we found spotted heath orchids and various other pretty wild flowers.
Dinner this evening was a local haggis, neeps and tatties. Before that RF filled a container with peanuts and hung it on one of the hooks outside the lodge and we were visited by the lovely little chap in the extra.
