More peony

Couldn't resist they look so good. I've brought a couple into the house and the scent is amazing.
Out first thing then did some more weeding and dead heading in the garden. I went into town and bought a couple of pairs of quite posh socks..... ie they cost more money that I would normally consider spending on stocks but Ali had given me a voucher which had to be used by the 19th, so I used it and avoided having to put too much more to it.
Colin went up to his mum's today for a few days, so we had a quick lunch before he set off to brave the roadworks on the Queensgerry Road.
I had a busy afternoon, delivering a talk at the Cursillo meeting this afternoon then doing Zoom evening prayer. One of my friends from India joined our Cursillo meeting, which was lovely, she told us a little of conditons out there... still not good, only around 13% are vaccinated, big the take up is improving. It was lovely to see her, what did we do before Zoom?
I finally got around to clearing out the fish tank this evening, a job long overdue, sorry fish!
I went down to Lidl after dinner amongst other things, to get biccies for church. They do lots of individually wrapped ones, including madelaines at a much more sensible price. Lidl do a prize thing everytime you shop and use their app, usually I don't win or win 20p off a tin of soup or something useful like that, but when I did it this evening I won a £20 voucher off my next shop so that's nice.
Gave the garden a good water and am finally selling down to relax, read blips and upload my own and its 10.50...where did the day go?
