Cygnus

Sun!

Although the Ards Man looks a bit bundled up here, when we got to our destination (Largs) just beyond this point, it was scorchio! For us northern folk, anyway, it being 17°C. On with the shorts!

We had another lovely passage today, although only the headsail was deployed as the wind was on our nose most of the way. We’re making this journey to help the Precious with childminding next week, as her MiL, who usually looks after the dears on a Monday, will be on holiday. So the Cygnus team swoops into action!

We’ve been so lucky as the journey across in a small yacht can be very tedious if it’s blowing a hooley or lashing with rain. And all my pals were praying for good weather!

The photo was taken as we passed Hunterston B nuclear power station. It is a big blot on the right, so the AM was determinedly looking left to the lovely view of Millport on Great Cumbrae. It’s now time for hot dogs and a bottle of beer!

Yo-ho-ho!
