Wearing purple...

A north-east blipmeet...

...lovely to be able to see blip friends Pat and Dolly again, after too many months...
Roy acted as our chauffeur from Whitley Bay to St Mary's Island, then Pat took over as Blip Party Leader and led us along the cliffs to Seaton Sluice - a childhood haunt of mine. Delicious fish & chips in Seaton Sluice and a blip wander, then back to Valerie's for a coffee and more chat before we went our separate ways. A lovely get together, as always - and possible future meets planned once Roy has had his hip op and we are able to head north again ;)

Extras - "the sluice" and flowers for Friday, and last night's entertainment on the river.

We've decide we'll stop posting daily Corona Classics once the restrictions are lifted - but until then - an appropriate choice from Dolly after our seaside blipmeet  - Sea Sketches for string orchestra By Grace Williams.

And I’ve joined in with Mendelssohn: Calm Sea & Prosperous Voyage
