Forester Moth

Sorry it's another Forester moth today, a much fresher one than a few days ago. It was a lovely warm sunny day so I went back to see if I could find more forester moths. Walked up a lovely glen and spent time paddling my feet in a calcareous spring that just looked so fresh and clear. Flying today were six spot burnets (see extra), small heaths and small copper and it wasn't until I left the site that I spotted this Forester right in the middle of the home bound track. I probably won't see one of these for years now having seen 2 this week.

KK didn't come with us as he cycles to the gym for a session on a Saturday morning to go with the other 4 sessions he does during the week, he is determined to have big muscles.
