Hoping that the early morning rain would go off (it did), we set off to Screel and had a nice walk up to the summit and down a different way. Jess enjoyed herself again :-)

On the way home, we were diverted by police as the A75 was closed between Springholm and Crocketford because of a big accident. I don't know any more details about what happened, but I felt bad about it all the way home; that someone had been hurt or killed on such a beautiful day.

It was my turn to cook tea and I had plenty of help. Just feel so grateful tonight for so many things.

Today's walk: Screel, about 3.5 miles (my phone ran out of battery)
