Keep Out

This chocolate box cottage is all boarded up. The garden is blooming with roses and sweet peas. We wondered why such a pretty house was not lived in.
We asked our boat neighbour who is from thr area and he said round here the floods from the swollen river can be treacherous. In November 2019 the house was so badly flooded it was deemed to be unsafe. Such a shame. I thought it would do for derelict Sunday.
We are in a lovely little place called Sprotborough. We went on a beautiful riverside walk with hides dotted along the way to watch the birds in a nature reserve.
We saw cormorants, herons, coots, kittiwakes and more. We then turned onto a path that went up through a forest. On the way back we stopped at the pub across from us for a pint.
I'm not writing much as the only place I can get a signal is outside on deck and it's bloomin' freezing. 
I can't really make any comments today either.
Going back indoors to get warm. ;-) X
