What took you so long

Basil had been waiting all day to go out. I embarked on doing a project for the RPS website only to discover I didn't have access to all the elements I needed. I gave up in high dudgeon.

When Len came back from swimming I bestirred myself and went out with Basil for a tour of the surrounding streets. He blotted his copybook by barking at an unassuming pooch and scaring him
