Daydream

Rather an odd logo, I thought, but definitely a day for ice cream treats. A new food truck offering them is parked down by the ferry. Not sure if it's going to be there permanently but I'm sure plenty of people would patronize it while waiting for a ferry and maybe locals too who are out for a walk or who stop at the Merc for groceries.
A good Father's Day walk down Xwaaqw'um for G and me, and a FaceTime with family to look forward to before supper. I'm making Pasta Puttanesca, his favourite. In normal times, we'd likely go out to Aunty Pesto's for Puttanesca but we're not feeling quite ready to eat out yet. I think he'll enjoy my version. :-))
