Solstice Sunrise over the Cotswold Escarpment, 05:13. Taken from my study window. A few minutes later than the almanacs will tell you, but we are lower than the hilltops and have to have a little patience. Apologies for some minor artefacts where I've bleary eyed removed a telephone wire. Blessings of the summer solstice up here, and if you're down there... happy winter solstice. And now to see if I can't get back to bed for an hour out so and not wake up Ivy in the next room...
