“I don’t like that look man.”

I would have gone with a dragonfly, but this afternoon Bee Captain Maverick flew a distinctly Top Gun loop and splatted straight into the koi pond. He kicked around for a few seconds then realised the end was inevitable. But it wasn't, because I got the pond net and rescued him. I liked the ripples and the virulent green of the summer pond, but you might need to go large to see him in any detail. The dragonflys were worth an extra or three too, on the Summer Solstice.
