Impulse

I don't do impulse buying...until suddenly I did do it. Browsing Amazon for photo stuff, I chanced upon this wooden watch. Only £30, and it comes with both leather strap, which I fitted, and wooden bracelet, to try another day, perhaps.

So now I have two watches, this elegant and tactile piece of wood, and the equally elegant Skagen. Both lightweight and comfortable. I don't 'get' the Rolex thing at all, but....ancient Chinese saying (which I just made up, I think, or perhaps heard somewhere, sometime):

Man with watch knows time.
Man with two watches is never quite sure.
