"Go" from one extreme to the other

My new 100-400mm lens arrived this afternoon.  Talk about extremes, and the tripod will definitely come into use as it's a real back-breaker.  I've added an extra of a juvenile woodpecker on the feeder taken through the window.

A bit of gardening done but it's so cold and miserable, although luckily we haven't had any rain.
