Interesting article (in Welsh) about solstice https://www.bbc.com/cymrufyw/57389189
A pair of Swifts were swooping and twittering over our neighbours’ house this morning, so happy to see them!
I’ve been a subscriber to Permaculture Magazine for about 15yrs and had a message this afternoon directing me to a YouTube video on “Forage Gardening” which is essentially the purpose of my garden https://youtu.be/TYpZLsqNNZc
The idea of “guilds” of plants which are beneficial to each other ... today’s Blip is part of a guild where there are flowers for pollinators which in turn pollinate the blueberries and other soft fruit nearby - purple toadflax, ox eye daisies, blue Jacob’s ladder, verbena bonariensis - they are growing beneath the Mahonia and Black Leaved Elderflower which provide shelter for more delicate plants also food and shelter for birds and insects and any other creature which needs them!

Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
