We walked over the nearby Llanmadoc hill to Cwm Ivy as recommended by Lesley Alsford. Unfortunately the cafe she recommended was closed Mondays and Tuesdays! Grrr. Cwm Ivy is interesting as a bit of the sea wall protecting the farmland was washed away in 2014 and it has been allowed to return to a salt marsh.  We had a lovely  walk but quite tiring as it was about nine miles and a lot of it was on soft sand which is quite hard work!
The photo from the top of the hill shows Carmarthen Bay, and the continuation of the beautiful Sandy beaches from Rhossili bay. They go on for miles!
