Goodbye sunflower

Finally we make the trip south to see my in-laws. We’ve not seen them since December 2019 so it was wonderful to be spending the whole weekend with them.
I watered the garden before leaving and said goodbye to my flowers, leaving them in the hands of our neighbours. I think we will be seeing a huge difference when we get back in 10 days time.
When we arrived mid afternoon the first thing we were told was that there was no WiFi as there was a fault with their router and the engineer wasn’t coming out until Tuesday. The look on my husbands face was priceless. Neither of us have a data package so it rather limited what we could do on social media. But at least it forced everyone to talk to each other  which was rather nice. We missed the England- Scotland game as a table had been booked for 7.30. There were only two tables occupied, but the number of takeaways going out was ridiculous! It was a lovely relaxed meal with very nice food and by all accounts we didn’t miss much anyway!
