Leafy Hampstead

Before heading off to my sister in laws for an early Fathers Day celebration in the afternoon/evening, we went for a stroll around the area. Up Haverstock Hill and down Pilgrims Way towards Hampstead Heath. I saw this interesting looking house on Pilgrims way. I liked the intricate carvings on the facade and the fact that a rather large tree was growing on the roof!
We had a fabulous BBQ - even if we had to eat it indoors because the rain came. Good food and the company of family made it a great day, especially fir my father-in-law who is now 83.
