This Poppy Cross will be placed at Falmouth’s War Memorial tomorrow. It Remembers those who gave all, the injured and those who suffer still from Op Herrick, the name given to the British Military deployment to Afghanistan between 2002 and 2014.
This conflict is just one of twelve chosen to be remembered this year by the Falmouth Royal Naval Association, it falls tomorrow, Fathers Day, we remember the fathers lost and those who never got the chance to be fathers.

On a more cheerful not with Mrs S working and Sam busy Paddy and I got to spend the day lounging around in the sunshine. The occasional treat for Paddy, the occasional coffee for me.

Up until 2:30pm when I watched without doubt the best game of rugby I have ever seen. Harlequins came back from 28-0 down to beat the Bristol Bears and book a place in the finals.
Exhausted from watching.
