Ornamental Poppies

A full day with work before a late afternoon game of golf.  We were playing at Shifnal and over the last few years I've always tried to visit local fields at this time of year, because the local farmer grows these ornamental poppies.

I was a bit late this year, with many of the heads having lost their petals.  

The golf was very enjoyable, but for the last four holes where I failed to score.  A bit of a blow up!.
