2021 Tuesday — The Coast is Clear!
Here at the coast our days are most often veiled in some degree of moisture in the air. So clear days such as this are rare and spectacular.
This photo is the south looking view toward Point Buchon and we’re looking out at Estero Bay.
From here we see Morro Rock, which is a volcanic plug. Morro Bay is the community by the Rock and it contains a lovely back bay with lots of boats moored. The back bay is often busy with kayakers, row boats, paddle boarders, not to mention harbor seals, otters, and lots of birds.
This has been an absolutely gorgeous day on California’s Central Coast. We drove into San Luis Obispo to the Staples Store to look at computer printers. The one we have is 8 years old and we use it seldom, so when we do the ink cartridges (all four of them) are dried-up. Mr. Fun would like one with toner, rather than ink.
We also drove to the engineer’s office to put a down payment on the back yard project that is in our future. A rock on our back yard hill slid several feet this past January in the heavy, rather unusual rain. So we’ve decided to have an engineer and his team survey our land to let us know how secure the rocks and dirt are in our yard. I’ll post more about this as the project progresses.
That was our Tuesday,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
