In clover...

The lawn has erupted into a mass of clover in a matter of days and the bees were making the most of it as we ate our lunch outside today.

The day has mainly been taken up with last minute shopping and gathering things not to forget to take. And more ironing....

And at the end of it, I’m feeling excited. This long planned and Covid delayed weekend is only one sleep away. Messages have been coming in on the WhatsApp group and the excitement is being felt in the homes of other family members too. We can’t all be together at one time of course and changes of plan for bbq and Sunday roast. We will be following all the rules and are more than willing to do so. I’m also feeling very grateful.

My extra is the two cakes we collected today. One for the two weddings that happened very differently last year and one for every birthday we have all had this year.
