Alice’s birthday

It was Mary’s suggestion that I made Alice some rainbow cakes, like I’d done for her once ( they remember so much better than I do! ) so I did.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t all get together for the birthday girl as someone at their school has Covid, so they’ve all been self isolating this week.

I’ve left the cakes at grandma’s as I’ve been told they will be there tomorrow, assuming everyone tests negative today … fingers crossed.

I have a birthday afternoon tea with girl friends myself, so won’t be able to join in with Alice’s celebrations, darn it :-(
