Today's the day ........................ for comfort food

One of those days today when things inexplicably, go pear-shaped from the start.

There's no point in going over it all, because that would be boring for you - and painful for me.  So instead I'll just tell you about the one highlight of the day which was a Mary Berry Tray Bake that I made.  It is absolutely delicious and if you want to have a go, you can find the recipe here.
