Evening walk

The husband and the eldest had a dog walk after school, was lovely for the two of them to go out.  I stayed at home with the youngest, we played and I had a snooze on the sofa (have been feeling a bit below par all day). 

Day of sorting things out, getting a few tasks done including finally starting work on making the curtains for our living room.  I've had the fabric for about 6 weeks and have procrastinated like anything about getting on with the task in hand. 

Slight disaster today, I got the spelling list for the week wrong and the eldest has learnt a whole lot of spellings that he actually did about a month ago, so the poor thing didn't do so well in his spelling test.  So annoyed as I really wanted to help him do well this week. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Starting the curtains! 
Starting work on the next assignments - lots of work and not much time so I need to give them lots of attention to get them done
Time with the youngest for me, and time with the eldest for the husband.
