Salut!

The Minx and I walked into Manchester to meet Hannah for a drink after work, today. We'd planned to go to The Anthologist* on St Peter's Square, which recently re-opened but, upon arrival, it was mysteriously closed. Hannah suggested Salut as an alternative, so we went 'round there and waited for her to finish work.

It wasn't hot today but it was certainly warm enough to sit outside in the sun, which we did, sipping our drinks and chatting to Hannah about her new flat, which she will move into at the start of August (fingers crossed!). The Minx had to head back early to taxi the miniMinx about but Hannah and I stayed on, sitting in the sun, until she was due to go and meet some friends.

I took today's photo on the walk back into Salford to meet the Minx for dinner at Porta.

*Which I often refer to as The Apologist and, in the unlikely event that I ever open a bar, that's what I'm going to call it.
