Pond Painting

I am working on a series of abstract images of the pond this summer; soft, "painterly" images.  It is a lot of fun to do.  I use several programs to achieve the effect I want and this is the first one.  I've added the second as an extra.  Not all photographs work well in this translation I've found but I think it will be interesting to see what I can do over the summer.  We are starting our "heat up" today but the real high temperatures will begin tomorrow through mid-week.
