Newport Bay, Pembrokeshire.
Extra: Haverfordwest: our first exploration of the town. This is a view from the Old Bridge: both sides of the river have been re-developed, very successfully, we think - but could understand if people who knew the town of old did not approve!
Away from the river the old town is a twisting maze of narrow streets, up the hill to the remains of the castle. Very distinctive and charming. It's very much a working town, and the centre has been pedestrianised.
The yarn bombers have been out in force with superb results.
I particularly liked the decorated cakes topping the bollards just by the cafe where we had tea (coffee actually), at one end of the Old Bridge. You can spot one at top-right in the montage of photos.
