Bridal Crown

Well it's back to grey and miserable again today, and by the time I left the office it was pouring with rain to boot. I had hoped to take some pictures of little Tete-a-Tete daffodils with raindrops growing in a tub by my back door, but by the time I got home the light was poor and wind blowing.

Instead, you have some Narcissi, Bridal Crown which I have been nurturing over the winter, and are just coming into flower. This is just a simple "snap" using natural light from the window with the camera on a tripod, not to forget the "pro tip" of using the mirror up option to avoid camera shake at the start of a long exposure.
