Mystery Tour

Six of us went on a day out.

4 new nothing of where they were going apart from the start included a bacon sandwich from a cafe, location unknown.

So, steam train from Heywood to Rawtenstall.

Beers at the Buffer Stops bar.

Train to Irwell Vale.

Walk up to Northern Whisper, via Lumb Viaduct on the old line to Accrington.

Beers at the Farm Tap and with that view of the Irwell Valley.

Train back to Bury.

Beers at the Trackside.

Pizza for tea and back to the back garden for a night cap.
