Vegetable flora and fauna

Lots happening in the garden. Beans reaching the tops of their poles,  potato foliage  meeting across the trenches, lettuces threatening to bolt,  butterflies laying eggs on the brassicas, birds checking on the ripeness of the red currants,  courgette plants bursting into flower (this is the first) and snails positioning themselves on the pea sticks  like early guests at the dinner table (extra).

So, busy-busy with all this and more. Apologies for not replying to comments very much but thank you for the appreciation of Thursday's mural.
