1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY

I have a photo student who has been with me through high school, college and a few jobs (she's a very good shooter) and her wedding which I shot. Then she had a baby and I was slated to shoot his baby pix but then COVID showed up and the opportunity was lost.

So when the opportunity to make some photos at her son's 1st birthday party arose, I jumped at the chance. She's perfectly capable of shooting it herself but she wanted to enjoy the party and not have to work...so she asked me. It is a privilege and an honor to be asked by a former student to participate in her life. This was not the first time I have been asked.

Her son is obviously enjoying his cake but was not having any of the cleanup afterward. I got carried away shooting several kids who were at the party. I seldom get the chance so I took it. You can see some shots in the Extras.
