I'm in two minds as to whether I like them as a form of communication

On the one hand they're good to hold a rough conversation throughout a day and generally catching up
however, the meaning of your text can easily be lost or misinterpreted, and it seems to make me lazy in making the effort the talk more substantially to people! and it can take a damn while to get through a conversation sometimes!

Hmm... maybe I should call people more often, considering I use about 2 of the 600 free minutes that I get?!
