Today’s weight 190.4 lb

Average weigh last week = 190.6 lb
Average weight this week = 191.3 lb
Weight gain over the week is 0.7 lb
Note: I weigh every day first thing and calculate weight loss based on average weight for the.
A year and 13 weeks of lockdown and 40 weeks home from hospital since discharge after stroke and I have to report a gain of 0.7 of a pound over the week. The work at allotment and home garden was limited this week because of 2 rainy days but I achieved daily goals in terms of exercise (10,000 steps and 5 miles a day) on these days by walking. FitBit challenges (goal day, daily challenge and bingo) also gave added incentive to meeting exercise goals and I thank all who participate with me. I had a calorie deficit of 500 a day most days despite lots of ready meals ( lack of time to cook from scratch) and some enormous sweet treats ( the reason for the excess calories on Wednesday was the cream scone at Dobbies on a wet Wednesday and excess on Monday was a cream choux bun at Riverside Cottage.Next week my goal is a small loss or standstill and I should easily achieve that if the weather remains god and Ingerland don’t get through to next round of the EUROs. Their matches lead to consumption of empty calories and limit exercise when their matches are on television.
I hope you all have had a good week and that you are all keeping safe and fit in these uncertain times. I also hope the prospect of the easing of the lockdown restrictions, the possible problems with new COVID variants and many football fans apparently ignoring all guidance relating to behaviour and social distancing is not having too much of a detrimental effect on your scales. Keep positive and safe.
