Knife Angel

Our microwave 'blew up' last night and despite changing the plug fuse it couldn't be resucitated; being only 11 months old we took it back to Curry's in Hereford and they've ordered a replacement for us to pick up on Tuesday. Good service so far!

We popped into Hereford town centre, and on the walk in passed the Knife Angel currently outside the Cathedral. It's made of 100,000 seized blades and is aimed at publicising knife crime. (The link explains it's making and where it will be appearing.) The extra shows the 27 feet height and it weighs in at 3.5 tons (UK imperial) and is made from knives seized by 43 UK Police Forces.
