Morning View

Started the day with a walk by the ocean. I've blipped this view before, but not with the Matilija poppies. You might be able to see the lighthouse way way off in the distance. Just as we were about to head home there was a flurry of honking horns, and a parade of Woodies came into the parking lot! There's something about these old cars that just makes me grin. This is traditionally the weekend for Woodies on the Wharf, an annual gathering that was cancelled because of Covid, but there was a scaled down version yesterday with folks just informally showing their cars. I'd forgotten that there is always a parade along the cliffs on Sunday morning, and lucky us, we had a front row seat!!
