Silly Saturday ...

... she refused to look at the camera!

We are at the beginning of what is supposed to be a heat wave ... although not as hot as the Pacific Northwest!

That said ... we decided to get out early for our walk today.  And since R still wasn't feeling well (since yesterday) we didn't want to travel far.  Housenick Memorial Park fit the bill.  It's always a lovely walk and we sometimes see some interesting (and silly) things here.  I've added an extra of a gorgeous cabbage white butterfly ... not at all silly!

As we were leaving I saw this beautiful white-tail doe munching grass in this field.  We stopped the car for a second and I took a couple of pictures.  But I couldn't for the life of me get her to look in my direction!
