This pair of Blue-tailed damselflies were busy making more damselflies today,. The arrangement is known as a copulation wheel for reasons which will be apparent.

There were plenty of Meadow Brown and Ringlet butterflies in the meadow and a few Large Skipper and Speckled Wood along with Yellow Shell, Silver-Y and Chimney Sweeper moths.
