An Ever Changing Sky

Despite a busy working day, we managed to have quite an active day. I did 5kms on the cross trainer before work - we've now organised the garages and I have one as a utility area and have made space for the cross trainer, and where it is I can open the door to conservatory so at least I have a view out to the garden while I'm on it.  At lunch time we took the boys out for a walk and then after dinner Alan and I headed into Llandudno.

After a lovely day, the sky went quite dark and we thought it was going to rain, but decided to head out anyway, and I'm glad we did.  We parked up near the Little Orme and walked round the bay to the Great Orme, it was so mild and calm and as the sun started to go down, the clouds cleared and we were treated to the most amazing sky.  It kept changing from pinks to purple to red and as we were walking back and the colours were behind us, so every time we turned round (which was a lot), it was different - it was a sky that kept on giving!  We walked 4 miles in total and didn't get home until nearly 11pm - it was wonderful!

Rach messaged me today to say her dad had gone back to the hospital for a CT Scan, apparently he was in a lot of pain in his legs yesterday and it turns out that he has a DVT.  They've given him blood thinners and sent him home.  With regards to his breathing, it's improved but he's struggling with fatigue which I know from other people who have had Covid, can take along time to recover from.

Update on Tuesday morning - her dad was in excruciating pain in his chest last night and ended up back in hospital, was in resus at 2.30am as they think the clot has moved.  He will have another CT scan this morning - it's very worrying and also very scary.  When Covid affects someone close to home, it makes you realise how serious this whole situation is.  Keep being careful and stay safe!
